Worn is a full service, mission-based creative agency on a mission to help women succeed. Founded by Nicole Corbett, a Latina and first generation American, Worn defies all odds in the agency world. Not only is Worn female-owned and run, at a time when majority of agencies are led by men, but our VP of Creative, Carolyn Rush, is also a woman (when only 11% of Creative Directors at agencies are female).
Based in New York City, Worn has worked with over 75 female-led companies and teams since its inception in 2013. Worn empowers women to lead by offering entrepreneurs and Fortune 500 clients business strategy and creative services such as website design, product packaging, and branding -- most often working with female entrepreneurs and their teams.
Worn is on a mission to launch and grow 500 female-led businesses by 2025.
Worn has worked with 75 women led businesses and 5 of the Fortune 100.
Meet Our Team
Chief Executive Officer
Nicole founded Worn in 2010 and grew it from a print publication into a full service creative agency. She was born into a family of entrepreneurs from Mexico and Argentina, and grew up in L.A. She has been an entrepreneur since the day she graduated from George Washington University. She speaks four languages and her life's passion is empowering women in business.
VP of Creative Strategy
Carolyn rebelled from the corporate world to join Nicole in growing Worn, and in 2013 opened up our New York office. She leads all ideation, strategy and creative thinking at Worn with a bottomless energy that has earned her the nickname Crush. She's built national campaigns from start to finish for startup brands to Fortune 500s alike. She jokes that the stack of NDA’s on her desk makes her feel more like a secret agent than an advertising executive.
VP of New Ventures
Originally from Montana, Elizabeth has spent her career focused on mission-driven projects from the WWF to Coca-Cola where she focused on global sustainability. She is a World Economic Forum Global Shaper and her focus at Worn is New Ventures that empower women.
Taylor has leveraged her career in advertising to champion social impact initiatives both internationally and domestically, learning the ropes at agencies like BBMG and Matter Unlimited and completing her NYU thesis on “marketing and morality”. She has developed integrated campaigns across print, digital and virtual reality for clients including Merck for Mothers and Glamour Magazine’s The Girl Project, and she has led brand strategy for several female-founded startups.
Jamie is a multidisciplinary designer who honed her design skills at Agency Love, Tory Burch, and Ann Inc before joining Worn. She graduated from Parsons School of Design and Syracuse University. Jamie was born in the Philippines and immigrated to the US at the age of 10.
April moved to New York in 2012 where she quickly formed an affinity for design and creative problem solving. Before joining Worn, she worked with Teen Vogue and Refinery 29. Since graduating from The New School, she has been utilizing her design powers for social causes that include sustainability & gender equality.
Liezel comes from a tech startup, where her event and client services experience developed both the company and her nonprofit client's success. While her passion lies with managing logistics and operations, she is driven by Worn's creative work and mission to empower women. Originally from South Africa, Liezel has lived in Europe and moved to the US at the age of 14.
