We’re excited to announce that we’ve welcomed a new addition to the team! Jade Taylor joined the Worn family as our new Chief of Staff but this isn’t her first time working with us. Jade was previously a summer intern for Worn back in 2014 and we are so excited to have her join full time. Here’s a quick Q&A between Nicole Corbett, CEO of Worn and Jade to help you get to know her and see why we couldn’t be happier to have her on our team.
N: Describe your first week at Worn. What were some of the highlights?
J: The week that I started was right before our company retreat, so spending a weekend in Montauk and getting to know the incredible ladies of Worn was definitely the highlight. Overall though, my first week at Worn was surreal. I had interned with Worn when I was in college the summer we became a full-service creative agency, so coming into the fold again and seeing where Worn is now is an absolute dream. It’s still amazing women doing more amazing things.
N: If you weren’t doing the job you’re currently doing, and money was no object, what would you be doing?
J: Running a vineyard.
N: What’s the #1 thing that made you want to work at Worn?
J: The women – knowing I would be working with and learning from a group of incredibly talented women who understand the meaning of hustle, and share a beautiful vision of a better world for women. I wanted to be a part of something extraordinary, and that’s what Worn is doing!
N: What’s your go-to for self care?
J: It’s all about balance in life; spending quality time with family, friends, and with myself, getting enough sleep, hitting the gym, going on new adventures (local and global), getting sunshine and breathing fresh air. That makes me sound like a plant.
N: Who would you invite to your dream dinner party?
J: Michelle Obama, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Jacinda Ardern, RBG, and Kamala Harris… some of the most influential and inspiring women in politics and culture today.
N: Why are you passionate about empowering women?
J: I went to an all women’s college (shoutout to Scripps College!) and it was the most rewarding experience of my life. Honestly, once you’ve seen and felt how a supportive, uplifting, and empowering female-driven environment can shape your life and impact the lives of other women, it’s impossible to ignore it. There’s nothing like it. And Worn is about that – it’s the foundation of our relationships with our clients, with each other, and it grounds the work we do.
