Worn Creative Teams Up with &pizza to put Local Artists on the Menu + Design Contest Worn|June 17, 2013 Since the official launch of Worn this year, we’ve been working with &pizza on campaign to photograph their customers and their local communities and showcase them in their restaurants. If you walk into their H Street Location you might spot people you know (like local artist Steve Cummings!) on a menu board or napkin holder. You can also spot local artists John Scoops of Typefighter and Branding Hill of No Kings Collective on a wheat paste poster or on the menu boards at their new location on U Street. (See more of our work for &pizza here.) Design &pizza’s New Box Now we’re taking it one step further and giving local artists the opportunity to design the next &pizza box and get their work in the hands of 5,000 customers. The Idea is Simple: Local artists make art on &pizza boxes and the winnign design becomes the next box with your maverick in it.
